After you learn about the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, we hope you will want to protect this resource by joining the group that advocates for its completion, stewards its trails and access areas, and educates the community about this treasure. MSC Stewards come from every walk of life and, as a team, we accomplish great things. There is still a lot to do however, and therefore we need you to enhance our ability to care for your Preserve. This 1-day orientation class provides the training you’ll need to get started right away. Big Fall Work Project

• Free – RSVP requested but not required

MSC plans major work project at least twice per year. This fall’s project, at the new Gateway trailhead near DC Ranch, includes devegetating what will be the Gateway parking area and other trail construction. Everyone interested in helping should join us. People of all ability levels are needed. This is a great way to contribute to the growth of your Preserve.
